About Focus Magazine

The Over Wyre & Garstang Focus magazines trade as ‘Focus Magazines’ and each is affectionately locally known as ‘The Green Book’ due to their distinctive green covers.

The Over Wyre magazine was launched in November 1999 followed by the Garstang magazine in September 2000.

The magazines have gone from strength to strength becoming well established within the communities they serve with home deliveries made to over 10,000 homes before the 1st of each month.

The Over Wyre Focus home delivery area comprises Hambleton, Stalmine, Knott End on Sea, Preesall and Pilling. The Garstang Focus home delivery area comprises Scorton, Cabus, Garstang, Bonds, Bowgreave, Catterall, Churchtown and St Michaels on Wyre.

These well established magazines contain interesting community event information, supplied to us each month by the press secretaries of the various clubs, groups and societies. Membership of clubs and societies is obviously key to the finances of these groups and to the work that they do and we have very positive feedback from them that Focus plays a significant role in supporting them.

If you are an event organiser for a local club or society or if you have a charity fund raising event planned then make sure you let us know about it.

If you are a local business or trades person, you can use us with confidence, knowing that your advertisements will regularly reach the people you need - the local residents!
